Come to collect the shopping on a chosen day (1-hour slot) for example on your way from work. We will load the whole purchase directly in to your car's trunk, so you don't even need to get off the car. All you need is number of your ID and your order.

We have now changed our guide price approach to a fix price approach as a general rule. If the price of the products change between the date of the order and the date of delivery, the prices valid at the time of ordering will apply to you, except if you have changed your order in the meantime.
In the case of weighed products, such as grapes or cheese, the price refers to the estimated weight. However, when paying, it is based on the exact, already weighed product. If the ordered product is not available in the service store on the day of delivery, we may offer a replacement product if you requested it, the price of which may differ from the originally ordered product.

What are substitute products?

What are substitute products?

Tesco From Home offer of products on our website is informational only. Please, be aware that there may be some substitute products in your order when our driver delivers it to your doorstep. As we prepare your order at the day of delivery, not in advance, these substitute products are used in case of insufficient stock of products you’ve ordered in the store in the time of preparing your order.

We choose them to be the closest match to your products both in terms of price and quality. Substituted products are placed separately from rest. You will be informed of these substitutes beforehand with an email. When the delivery arrives, you can decide if you want, or don´t want to overtake any of the products, even the substituted ones. You pay only for those products, which you want to keep.

What is Tesco from Home?

Tesco from Home is the online service of Tesco, which is available at our https://bevasarlas.tesco.hu/ website (Website) and/or the Tesco Online mobile application (Mobile Application), providing you an opportunity to buy our products from the comfort of your home.  We offer a wide range of products, which can be delivered to your address even on the same day you place your order.
Registered Tesco Clubcard holders can also collect Clubcard points after their online orders.

How do we prepare, pack, and deliver your order to keep your products fresh?

There are several people involved in your shopping trip, all of whom are dedicated to make sure our customers receive great service and great quality.

  • Our trained Shopping Assistants always select products as if they were shopping for themselves. They always pick products which are the freshest and have the longest use by dates from the shopfloor of the store providing your service. They ask themselves the question: "would I buy it?", and therefore don’t collect anything that is not of the highest quality.
  • When packing your products, our colleagues pay special attention to separating food from non-food, chilled from frozen, and they also make sure to place heavy items on the bottom to avoid squashing any vulnerable products.
  • We also store all products in air-conditioned areas because we want to make sure that your shopping is being delivered under the most optimal conditions possible and arrives to you at the correct temperature.

How do you get your products?

Before you confirm your order, you can choose if you’d like to have the products delivered in bags or without bags. In case you’d like to have them in bags, you’ll be charged with a fee indicated during your shopping, which is a one-off fee, independent from the number of bags we use or products you order. You can also choose not to have the products in bags, in this case we will provide you enough time to unpack your shopping. But products like fresh meat and baked goods will always be delivered in bags due to hygienic reasons, in which case you will not be charged with any extra fee. You shouldn’t worry if you change your mind, since you can amend your order until 11:30 pm before the delivery day.

For same-day deliveries, you can amend your shopping until 9:00 and 13:00, depending on the booked time slot. The deadline for modification is as follows:

How can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order on the website or in our mobile application until 23:30 on the day before your delivery would take place. For same-day deliveries, the above deadlines are also valid for cancelling your order.

How to shop

Do I need to register and why?

You don’t have to register if you’re just browsing our website or our application, but if you want to order your shopping from us, then you will need to register. To use our Tesco from Home service, you must register on the website or in the application and create an account. This is how we know for example where to deliver your products, but also how we can provide you with information about your order and delivery.

How do I find products?

There are several ways to find the products that you want to buy:

  • Products are grouped into categories (e.g., Bakery, Drinks, Health&Beauty), and you can use filters to narrow down the products in each category.
  • With the search box, you can easily find the products you want.
  • In the ‘My Favourites’ menu, you can browse all the products you have previously purchased.
  • In the ‘Promotions’ menu, you can choose from our current special offers. You can narrow them down to a shorter list using the department filters at the top of the page.

How do I add and amend products in my basket?

You can add products from any pages on the website/in the mobile application where products are displayed using the ‘Add’ button.

 Depending on the type of product, you can add it to your basket by quantity or weight (or maybe a different amount).

  • Add by quantity: click on ‘Add’ to put one product into your basket. You can add more than one piece at a time by entering the number of products you want in the text box and then clicking on ‘Add’.
  • Add by weight: you can add loose products to your trolley by weight. In this case, select the quantity you want to buy from the box and click on the ‘Add’ button to add the selected quantity to your shopping list.
  • Add by quantity or weight: there are products where you can select whether you would like to add the product by weight or quantity. If you choose to add by weight, the average weight of a piece of product will appear in the product description to help you. If you choose to add by quantity, the price of the product will be determined according to the requested number of pieces.

What are the next steps after adding products to my basket?

Once you have completed your shopping list and have all the items you want to purchase, you will need to select a delivery slot (if you haven’t already booked one earlier). You can then check your shopping list on the Checkout page, and after selecting your payment method, you will be able to confirm your order. After finishing your order, we will send a confirmation to your e-mail address.  

If you decide you would like to change your order after confirmation, especially, but not exclusively, by

  • adding or deleting products,
  • changing your booked time slot,
  • adding or deleting coupons,
  • adding or cancelling shopping bags,
  • amending your instructions

please note that these changes may also change the price of your order. This is because when you change your order, the prices of the products in your shopping cart are automatically updated to the prices valid on that day, so the final amount may change. We will always notify you of this change during the process, and you can always decide whether to accept it.

After logging in, you can choose whether you want to use the delivery method of our Tesco From Home service, Home Delivery or Click&Collect, by clicking on the appropriate tab.

Book a slot

Delivery slots can be booked at the earliest on the same day the order is placed, in the afternoon, depending on free slots. To book a slot, first select the most suitable time from the delivery slot table. The table clearly shows the fee of delivery for the selected slot. Once selected, the service charge will be automatically added to the total amount of the order and will not change until the shopping is delivered.

Start shopping

You have several options for successfully adding products to you shopping list: you can browse the products in the product categories, or you can conveniently use the search box to find a specific product. We offer a lot of products on promotion. If you want to buy products that you’ve previously purchased via our Tesco from Home service, you can easily find them in your ‘My Favourites’ list. Add the desired quantity of each item into your basket and the basket will total up the guide price.

Select your payment type

You have the option to pay online on the website or in the mobile application, or at the door, by debit or credit card. If you choose to pay online, your card will not be charged until after you have received your shopping. Cash payments are not accepted.

Amend your shopping

In the ‘My Orders’ menu, you have the option to amend or cancel your shopping until 23:30 the day before delivery. In case of same-day delivery, it is possible to make changes until 9.00 and 13.00, depending on the booked delivery slot. When you amend your shopping, you can add additional products, or even delete some items, but you can also change the delivery time slot. Once you’re finished, be sure to check that the amendments were saved successfully. Please note that if you change the delivery time, the prices of the products included in your order may change according to the prices valid on the day of the amendment.

Receive your shopping

Your delivery will be brought to you in a temperature-controlled van, and your products will be handed over to you by a Tesco employee. The bags will be carried into your preferred room in your home if this is required and you can check every item to make sure your shopping is complete and to ensure quality and freshness. If items are not available on the day of delivery, the Customer Delivery Assistant will bring products similar to the product of your choice (substitutions) which you can choose to keep or return. Of course, you will only be charged for the items that you receive.

We take payment after delivery, based on the exact items accepted

We recommend that you check your delivery to make sure that you have received everything successfully. If you chose to pay at the door by card, you can pay either by credit or debit card. Online payments will be taken by the end of your delivery day. Of course, in both cases you will only be charged for the items that you receive. Please read the information about guide price, to understand why there may be a slight difference between the guide price on your automatic confirmation email and the final amount charged.

Home Delivery

When can I get my shopping delivered?

Except for public holidays, the time slots can be booked from Monday to Sunday between 8.00 am and 10.00 pm for our Home Delivery service. You can order a delivery up to 3 weeks before the desired date.

How do I choose the date and time for Home Delivery?

Once you have logged in, click on the ‘Book a slot’ button to see the available delivery slots. It is recommended to book your slot at the start of your shopping, however, please be aware that it will only be reserved for 2 hours once you have selected it, so you should finalize your shopping within 2 hours. Alternatively, you can book your slot once you have completed your shopping.

What delivery instructions should I give?

Enter any additional information about your address that may help to deliver your shopping. For example, you can enter the name that appears on the doorbell or give other instructions if the address is difficult to find (for example, your door is the one of the three doors that is painted red).

How much does the delivery cost?

Tesco will impose a service charge for the delivery of your shopping. The service charge for our Home Delivery service is between HUF 799 and HUF 1199, depending on the booked time slot.  If you select the Same-day Delivery and Home Delivery service, the service charge will always be HUF 1400, regardless of the time slot. If you want to collect your shopping at a Click&Collect point, Tesco will impose a service charge between HUF 150 and HUF 499.  You can find the service charge to be paid in the delivery slot table, after clicking on the ‘Book a slot’ button. You can check the service charges before you start compiling your Shopping by clicking on the ‘Book a slot’ button. The service charge for the selected time slot will not change after you submit your order, unless you change the delivery time slot later.

Receiving my shopping

I’ve forgotten when my shopping is due to be delivered, how do I check my delivery time?

You can check what delivery slot you have selected for your shopping by going to the ‘My orders’ tab on the website. The order confirmation email you have received will also contain the selected delivery slot.

How old do I need to be to accept a delivery?

You need to be 18 to accept a delivery. If the Delivery Assistant (or, in case of Click & Collect, the Tesco employee handing over the products) has doubts about the age of the person collecting the order, and the person does not voluntarily present his identity document to verify his age, the Delivery Assistant (or, in case of collection at the stores, the Tesco employee handing over the products) can refuse to give them the shopping. The Delivery Assistant (or, in case of Click&Collect, the Tesco employee handing over the products) will do the same if the identity document shows that the person in question is under 18 years of age.

Will the Delivery Assistant deliver my shopping to my door?

Yes, our Delivery Assistant will deliver your shopping to your flat/house door. In the case of office buildings or buildings where access is subject to security controls, Tesco will, as a rule, guarantee delivery to the main entrance.

What happens if I miss my delivery? What should I do?

If you’ve missed your delivery, contact our Customer Services at tesco.hu/kapcsolat or at 06 80 222 333, and they will try to reroute the Customer Delivery Assistant to you again if they have not arrived back to the store yet. If they are already back at the store and they cannot deliver your products a second time, then your order is cancelled, and you will have to order your shopping once again, which can easily be done under the ‘My orders’ tab.

What if a product I ordered wasn’t available on the day of the delivery?

If a product you put on your shopping list isn’t available on the shopfloor of the Serving Store on the day of the delivery, you’ll be provided with a substitute product, if you have chosen to receive substitutions for the given product or for the whole delivery when placing your order. When placing your order, you have the possibility to choose whether you want to receive substitutions for a single product or for the whole shopping. In this case all substitutions will be listed on the top of the delivery note you will receive via e-mail in advance (and it will be handed over in a printed form during delivery as well), with details of quantity, unit price and total price of substitutions. It is not compulsory to accept the substitutions, you can choose to accept or reject them when your shopping is delivered. If you choose not to accept the substitutions, feel free to hand them back to the Delivery Assistant. You will not be charged for these products. In case our colleagues cannot find a suitable product at all to replace the product of your choice, it will be left out of the delivery, and you will of course not have to pay for the product.

What if the delivery is going to be late?

We’ll try our best to contact you in time if our Customer Delivery Assistant is running late. However, if you haven’t heard from us, and your delivery is running late, please contact our Customer Services team. Contacts: 06 80 222 333 or tesco.hu/kapcsolat

What is a substitute product and what do I need to know about substitutions?

Our Tesco from Home service is not a webstore; thus, selected products are only purchased upon delivery. In case a product you selected isn’t available on the shopfloor of our store providing your online services on the day of delivery, and you chose to have substitutions when you placed your order, then we will offer you a substitute product. You can choose to have substitutions for a single product or for the whole shopping. Our colleagues will choose products and substitute products as if they were shopping for themselves. They always pick products which are the freshest and have the longest use by dates from the shopfloor of the store providing your service. They ask themselves the question: "would I buy it?", and therefore don’t collect anything that is not of the highest quality. In all cases, we will try to offer you a substitute product that is closest in price and quality to the product you originally selected. Substitute products will be listed on the top of the delivery note you will receive via e-mail in advance (as well as at delivery), with details of quantity, unit price and total price of substitutions. If you choose not to accept the substitutions, feel free to hand them back to the Delivery Assistant, they will deduct it from the final price, and you will not be charged for these products during payment.

What if I’m unhappy with the quality of the products in my shopping?

If you are unhappy with any product, just hand it back to the Delivery Assistant and you won´t be charged for the product. You are entitled to your right of withdrawal within 14 calendar days after receiving the products without giving a reason and if you have the receipt, which means that you may return the products to any Tesco store if you show the receipt. Tesco will pay you back the purchase price of the returned product. You may not exercise this right relating to: perishable foods or foods with short period of usability or freshness and baby foods; products in sealed packaging containing video and/or sound recordings, computer software (e.g. CD, DVD), if the costumer opened the packaging; products which, by their nature, are inseparably mixed with other products after being handed over; and in the case of sealed products which, for reasons of health protection or hygiene, cannot be returned after being opened (cosmetics, underwear), as well as newspapers, journals and periodicals. If you want to return products, you can do so in any of the Tesco stores. Whenever possible, please always try to check your shopping before the Customer Delivery Assistant leaves.  That way we can make sure you won’t be charged for products that you want to reject for some reason.

What should I do if there is a product missing from my shopping?

If there are products missing from your delivery, please contact our Customer Services using one of the contact details shown at the end of the page.

Can I return a product that I’ve bought?

If you are unhappy with any product, just hand it back to the Delivery Assistant and you won't be charged for the product. You are entitled to your right of withdrawal within 14 calendar days after receiving the products without giving a reason, which means that you may return the products within 14 days by showing the receipt without any justification. You may not exercise this right relating to: perishable foods or foods with short period of usability or freshness and baby foods; products in sealed packaging containing video and/or sound recordings, computer software (e.g. CD, DVD), if the costumer opened the packaging; products which, by their nature, are inseparably mixed with other products after being handed over; and in the case of sealed products which, for reasons of health protection or hygiene, cannot be returned after being opened (cosmetics, underwear), as well as newspapers, journals and periodicals.  If you return all the products in a transaction, you will be refunded the service charge you paid during the transaction in question, but you must in all cases return the products concerned at your own expense to a Tesco store within 14 days from your declaration to use your right of withdrawal. Tesco is obliged to pay the purchase price of the returned products, or you may decide to choose a different product in exchange of the returned product. Simultaneously with returning the products and their price being refunded, a number of points corresponding to the amount refunded will be deducted from your Clubcard account. Whenever possible, please always try to check your shopping before the Customer Delivery Assistant leaves. That way we can make sure you won’t be charged for products that you want to reject for some reason.

I would like to complain and return the goods. What should I do?

We solve every complaint individually. Our colleagues are ready to solve any issue in connection with delivery.

If you want to return the goods, you will have three options to choose from:

  1. Return the goods directly to the Delivery Assistant and you won’t pay for the returned item.
  2. Return the goods to the nearest Tesco store. We will give your money back or refund the order in another form of compensation based on our agreement.

What personal details will I need to enter to register to Tesco from Home? How safe is my data?

To register you will need to enter your:

  • Email address and password
  • Address where you want the selected products to be delivered
  • Address nickname (this is for your reference, e.g.: “home”)

  • Clubcard number (this is optional – you can enter this information if you want to receive Clubcard points for your order)

Do I have to give payment card details to register?

No, you don’t have to give any payment card details when you register. However, if you choose to pay online, we’ll ask you for your card details after compiling your shopping.  They will be encrypted and stored securely. Alternatively, if you don’t want to give any payment card details online, then you can pay by card at your door.

What is ‘My Account’?

What should I do if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, you can reset it by using the ‘forgot your password’ link on the sign in page. Follow the link and enter your email address, and we will send you an email with a link to reset it. Then, simply click on the link and enter a new password and confirm it to complete the reset.

What can I buy through Tesco from Home?

What products are available via Tesco from Home?

You can choose from thousands of products, ranging from fresh foods, frozen products, and drinks, as well as health & beauty and home essentials.

Is there any limit on how much I can buy?

To ensure that the products are available to the highest possible number of customers, Tesco has the right to impose a limit as to how many individual items a customer can purchase. In this case, the customer cannot select a higher number or amount of a product than the upper limit set by Tesco.  You will always be informed about the maximum limit as the system does not allow choosing a number or amount of a product over the limit.

Payment

How can I pay for my shopping?

There are two options available to pay for your shopping. You can choose to pay online or to pay at the door by card. In both cases you will not be charged for your order until after the selected products have been delivered to you.
Unfortunately, we will not accept cash as payment because our Customer Delivery Assistants cannot carry cash with them due to safety reasons. We would like to inform our customers that there is unfortunately no possibility to use Edenred card, SZÉP card, Erzsébet Plus card, Erzsébet voucher, paper-based Tesco coupons or other gift vouchers.

What is the process for paying online?

Once you’ve finished shopping, select online payment.  You will be asked to enter your payment card details in the online form. Then, the total amount of the price of your shopping increased by 15% will be blocked on your card. However, your card will be charged only after your shopping has been delivered. As a rule, financial institutions charge an account using the amount that has already been blocked, so because of this process, the blocked amount will be freed. It is possible, however, that the financial institution does not charge your account using the blocked amount, in which case the blocked amount will stay there. Given that Tesco has no control over the process of such financial transactions, Tesco excludes its liability for any damage they may have caused.

What type of payment cards can I use to pay?

You can use a debit or credit card to pay for your shopping. We accept the following payment providers:

  • Visa debit
  • Visa electron
  • Visa credit card
  • MasterCard
  • Maestro

Is it safe to pay online?

Yes, it is very safe to shop online with us. All your details are stored securely, including all payment card details. They are held in compliance with the law and are kept confidential.

What is a security code?

We ask for the security number from your payment card to prevent the fraudulent use of your account. This is printed on the back of your card. This code is not embossed and the magnetic stripe on the card does not contain this information.
For most card types, the code is a three-digit number located next to the signature field. If you can't find your security code, please contact your bank.

What is Tesco payment wallet?

‘Tesco Payment wallet’ is where you can add or remove multiple payment cards. You will then be able to use these cards to pay for your Grocery Home Shopping order.
You will only be able to add a card though the online checkout.
Your payment card details are encrypted and they are not stored on your phone.
If you have multiple cards saved, you will set a default card which will be automatically presented first to take payment. You will have the option to select another payment card that you have saved in your wallet at check out or manually enter another card.

What credit card/debit cards do you accept for payment?

We’re unable to accept Maestro cards for Delivery Saver payments. We don’t currently accept Visa Electron cards or Solo cards or Tesco Gift Cards. If you do have an Electron card, please check with your issuing bank, as they can upgrade your card to let you shop online with us

I'm trying to add my card to my Payment wallet, what is 3DS?

3DS or 3D secure, is an authentication procedure through your card issuer which provides additional security and peace of mind that only you could be using your payment card. You’ll be asked to enter some information when paying that only your bank would be able to validate. Tesco don’t manage this system. If you have had an issue at this stage when trying to add your card to your ‘Payment wallet’, please contact your card issuer in the first instance to resolve.

I need to update my payment card for an upcoming Grocery order?

If you need to update the payment card used on your upcoming order, you can do this by amending your order and changing the payment card at checkout. You will either be able to select a payment card that you have saved in your ‘Tesco Payment wallet’ or you will be able to enter another card.

What happens to my upcoming Grocery order if I remove the payment card used from the Payment wallet?

If you have removed a payment card from your ‘Tesco Payment wallet’ on either Tesco.com or the Tesco Groceries app and you have an upcoming Grocery Home Shopping order, don't worry, we’ll still take payment from this card.

I'm having issues adding a card to my Payment wallet, who do I contact?

If you are at the 3D secure stage, authorising your card with your bank and it is failing, please contact your bank in the first instance. For anything else, please contact our Customer Services team on the details below.

What happens if my payment fails?

If you enter payment card details online, we will not charge your card at that point, we will only check the validity of the card. If this fails, you will be notified of this on the website or in the mobile application. If your card fails, you can provide alternative cards. If you have any difficulties, please contact our Customer Services team who will be happy to help you. Contacts: 06 80 222 333 (toll-free number) or tesco.hu/kapcsolat.
Your payment card will only be charged after we delivered your shopping.
For payment at door, you can use the following cards:

  • Visa debit
  • Visa electron
  • Visa credit card
  • MasterCard

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept cash.
If none of your payment cards work, or in the very rare occasion that we have connection difficulties with the payment system at your door, we will have to take the products back to the store, and if we cannot deliver your products later, your order will be cancelled. In this case, you do not have to pay, the amount blocked on your credit card will be freed.

How can I get an invoice for my shopping?

You will get your invoice at your door when we’re delivering your order or at the collection point. If you would like to receive a VAT invoice for the transaction, you can request it in the 'Order Summary' section before payment by entering your exact billing information. In the case of a taxable person liable for payment of VAT, the tax number must be indicated in 8-digit or 11-digit format. Each VAT invoice will be itemized. If you have indicated your need for a VAT invoice on our website, we will hand it over to you during delivery or at the collection point. If you reject one of the products during delivery or at the collection point, we will send you a corrective invoice by e-mail based on the information you provided earlier.

Prices

The price of the product displayed on the website and in the mobile application and selected by you is by rule the price at which Tesco delivers the product to you on the date of your choosing. The price shown and the price to be paid on the day of delivery may differ because of loose products and substitutions.

  • For weighed (loose) products (like grapes or cheese), the price is calculated by an estimated weight. However, payment is based on the exact weight of the product, which may result in a difference in the final price.
  • Substitutions: if the product of your choice is not available on the shopfloor of the serving store on the day of delivery, we will offer you another product instead of the originally selected product if you requested it during your shopping. The price of the substitute product may differ from the price of the product of your choice.
  • If you amend your shopping after placing your order, the price of all products included in the order may change to the prices valid on the day of the amendment, which may result in a change in the total amount of the order, i.e. the amount you pay.

How are deposit products and their packaging treated?

The prices of the products sold in a returnable packaging with a deposit include the price of the deposit, which is always indicated in the product description. The cost of the packaging is always indicated on the receipt and on the invoice. The customer can return these packagings and get the deposit back in selected Tesco stores. Deposit items cannot be returned directly to the Customer Delivery Assistant.

Do you charge different prices online to the prices in store?

The prices of the products in your online shopping and the prices of the products in Tesco stores may vary in some cases. This could applyfor special offers at Tesco stores, which may not be valid for Grocery Online.

Click+Collect

What is Click+Collect?

If you want to use our Tesco from Home services, you have the option to collect your order in person. This means that your shopping will be ready at the most convenient time for you in the selected store with a Click&Collect point. You can also order at the Click&Collect point if you are in a place where we do not deliver as part of Home Delivery. This way, your shopping will be ready and waiting for you at our selected store.

Why would I use Click+Collect?

Because it is convenient:

  • We will do the hard part of shopping for you.
  • Your selected products will be picked, packed, and stored until you arrive at a suitable time within your reserved collection slot.
  • If you order to an address where we do not currently deliver as part of the Home Delivery, Click&Collect is still available for you, so we will prepare your online order at a Click&Collect point close to you, and you just have to pick it up.

 You can plan your collection time in advance, for example, after work, school, or on your way home from vacation. All you have to do is collect the shopping at the chosen Click&Collect point, the rest is up to us. The selected products are stored under appropriate conditions.

  • Your shopping will always be picked on the day of collection, and until you arrive, the perishable products will be stored in a refrigerator or freezer.

How do I use Click+Collect?

  1. Select a store with a Click&Collect point that is suitable for you.
  2. If you want to use our Click&Collect services, you can book a collection slot on the website or in the mobile application.
  3. Choose a collection slot suitable for you to collect your shopping.
  4. Place an order with your shopping.
  5. Pick up the selected products at the time and place you have booked.

Why can’t I see the Click+Collect option?

We are currently only offering the Home Delivery service from specific stores. If you can’t see the Home Delivery option, we don’t yet offer the service to your address.

Where exactly can I collect my Click+Collect shopping in person?

The exact location of the collection point varies by store; you will see clear signs (‘Click&Collect Point’) as you enter the store car park. You can see the address of your chosen store in your confirmation email.

What proof of ID do I need to bring to the Click+Collect point?

Please bring your order number and your ID. If you are paying at the collection point, you will need to bring your payment card as well. Unfortunately, we will not be able to give you the shopping if one of these is missing at the time of collection.

Can somebody else collect my shopping for me?

Yes, if they have a copy of the confirmation email with the transaction number. Unfortunately, without this we will not be able to give them your shopping. Only persons over the age of 18 are entitled to collect the products at the Click&Collect point.

When can I collect my shopping?

Slots are available 7 days a week, even for the same day, based on availability of free slots. You can book a slot to collect your shopping at the ‘Book a slot’ page.

What happens if I am late?

If, for any reason, you are unable to pick up your order within the time slot you have chosen, please contact our Customer Service at one of the contact details listed above to change your collection slot.

What happens if I arrive early?

Unfortunately, we will not be able to serve you before your collection slot.

How much does collecting your shopping in person at the store cost?

The service charge is shown on the ‘Book a slot’ page. You can check it before starting your shopping by clicking on the ‘Book a slot’ button.

Where will you store my shopping until I arrive?

All products are picked on the day of collection and perishable products are stored in the fridge or freezer until you arrive.

Will I receive my shopping in bags?

Before you confirm your order, you can choose if you’d like to have the products you ordered in bags or without bags.  If you want to have them in bags, you’ll be charged for each bag. If you have not requested bags for your order, we will give you your shopping without them, except for the products that we are required to put in bags.

How should I go to the Click+Collect point?

While of course you can come on foot to collect your shopping, we still recommend that you arrive at the Click+Collect point by car if you can. This way you will be able to pack the products in your car right away. In case you arrive by car, please note that the maximum height of the vehicle is 2.8 m.

What happens if something I have selected is not available on the day of collection?

The product selected by the customer may not be available on the shopfloor of ​​the store providing your online services on the day of collection for some reason. For this case you can decide when compiling your shopping whether you want to receive substitute products instead of the selected products. You can choose to have substitutions for the whole shopping, or only for selected products. If we are able to offer you substitutions instead of the product of your choice, we will list them at the very beginning of the delivery note sent to you electronically on the day of collection (and also given to you in printed form at the time of collection), showing the exact quantity, unit price and receipt indicating the price valid on the day of collection, so that you have the opportunity to compare the selected and the substitute products before collection.

What should I do if I'm not happy with the substitutions?

We will list the substitutions at the very beginning of the delivery note sent electronically on the day of collection (and given to you in printed form at the time of collection), showing the exact quantity, unit price and receipt indicating the price valid on the day of collection, so that you can compare the selected and the substitute products before collection. If you don’t want to accept any of the products, including substitutions, then you can give it back to our colleague. In this case, they will deduct the price of the product(s) from the final price, and you don’t have to pay for them.

How can I amend or cancel my Click+Collect order?

You can amend or cancel your order at the ‘My orders’ tab on the website or in the mobile application until 23.30 before the day of collection, and until 9.00 or 13.00 (depending on the chosen time slot) in case of same-day collection. You can add additional products to your order, delete some items, or even cancel the whole shopping. However, you do not have the option to change which way you want to receive your shopping. Once you’re finished, be sure to check that the amendments were saved successfully. Please note that if you amend your order, the prices of the products included in your shopping may change in accordance with the prices valid on the day of the amendment.

E-Coupons

What is an e-coupon?

An eCoupon is an electronic coupon code, which you can use to save money on your online order.
The eCoupon codes are combinations of letters and numbers, i.e.: ABC123.

How do I use an e-coupon?

  1. Log into your Tesco account or register if you are new to Tesco from Home.
  2. Add the products you want to buy to your basket and check out your order.
  3. On the Order Summary page, there is an eCoupons section. Enter your eCoupon code into the text box and click on ‘Use Code’ button to add your eCoupon to your order
  4. The eCoupon discount is automatically deducted from the total of your shopping before you pay.

Why is my eCoupon not working?

    1. Have you entered the eCoupon code correctly?
      Re-enter the code to check if you have made a typing error
    2. Are the dates on the eCoupon valid?
      The eCoupons have an expiry date, so please check whether your eCoupons are valid for your order. Your eCoupon must be valid on day of delivery to be applicable.
    3. Was the eCoupon sent directly to you?
      Sometimes our eCoupons are restricted and can only be used by the person they are sent to
    4. Have you tried to use the eCoupon more times than it was possible?
      Every eCoupon can only be used once.
    5. Is there a minimum basket limit?
      Some of our eCoupon codes can only be used when you spend at least a given amount.
    6. Have you entered more than one eCoupons?
      Some eCoupons cannot be used in the same order as other eCoupons.
    7. Are you trying to add your eCoupon to another country’s Tesco website?
      Our eCoupons can only be used in the country where they are issued.

How can I get notifications about eCoupons?

To receive information about our exclusive online discounts, please check the ‘Marketing Consent’ box when registering.

If you have previously registered and have not checked this box, please click on the ‘My Account’ tab after logging in, then click on ‘Yes, please’ under the ‘Manage contact preferences’ to request information on Tesco discounts, or special offers.

What do I need to know about the general use of the eCoupons?

In all cases, the eCoupon can only be redeemed on website or in the mobile app during the period indicated, according to the conditions set out on this page: the order and the receipt of the products must also take place during the period indicated on the eCoupon. You will be entitled to a one-time discount when ordering online with an eCoupon. Only one eCoupon entitling you to a discount can be used for a single purchase, and the eCoupon entitles you to a discount only up to the amount specified if the total value of the purchase exceeds the minimum spend multiple times. The eCoupon cannot be combined with any other discount; We are unable to accept coupons redeemable at the store.. What are Clubcard Prices?

Clubcard rewards our Clubcard members with exclusive deals in-store and/or online, such as Clubcard Prices. If you are ordering online, you need to make sure you have a Clubcard number saved in the My Account section through the below link. Then you'll get Clubcard Prices automatically if you would like to order online. You can always see the Clubcard price and also the regular price in the details of the product. The price you are going to pay can always be seen also in the basket before checking out.

 

Will I get Clubcard points for my online order?

Yes, if you add your Clubcard details to your Tesco from Home profile.

I’m not a Clubcard member. How can I get Clubcard Prices?

You have to have a Clubcard to get Clubcard Prices. It's easy to join! You can either sign up on the Clubcard website or in the Clubcard app after downloading it from your phone's app store. You will receive your Clubcard number in the confirmation email after registration. Then you just need to add the number to “My Account” section, and you can enjoy exclusive deals immediately!

How do I know if a product has a Clubcard Price when I order online?

Products online are clearly marked with the yellow Clubcard stripe showing the regular price and the Clubcard Price.

Can I use Clubcard vouchers and coupons online?

No, unfortunately, currently this option is not available for online ordering.

My Favourites

What is the ‘My Favourites’ tab?

The ‘My Favourites’ tab shows a list of all the products from your previous orders. If you want to add the same items to your shopping, then after signing in, go to ‘My Favourites’, so you don’t have to search again for a second time.

Can I remove items from ‘My favourites’?

Yes, you can delete products you no longer want to keep appearing in your favourites list, either individually or multiple products at once.
