The UK based Tesco is presented in 10 countries all over the world including Ireland and Thailand. Tesco operates in Hungary since 1995 and its head office is located in Budaörs. The company has built the country’s biggest retail chain by running more than 200 stores all over Hungary. More than 800 colleagues work together in our head office in Budaörs. We cooperate in 4 countries structure with the Polish, Czech and Slovakian teams on a daily basis to offer the best to our customers.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Create process maps and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Conduct time study on processes based on the initiative timeline and to feed further pipeline of improvement initiatives
  • Suggest further process improvements and opportunities for automation & create required documents
  • Support the tower leads for the initiatives/projects across the business
  • Embed a culture of Continuous Improvement at all operational levels, delivering tangible benefits
  • Ensures that processes are continually optimized to deliver efficiency savings
  • Make sure to follow up and complete the assigned activities/initiatives on time
  • Report and highlight the Delays/Risks/issues to the tower leads and Project leads proactively
  • Communicate the status of the assigned activities proactively to tower leads and Project leads

You will be great in this role if you have

  • Experience with Tesco processes
  • Experience in process documentation/mapping/analysis
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian OR Czech OR Polish
  • Logical & Analytical mindset, good communicator and stakeholder manager
  • Understanding of continuous improvement concepts including, Lean & Six sigma & Change Management
  • MS Office (PowerPoint, Visio, Project etc)
