The UK based Tesco is presented in 10 countries all over the world including Ireland and Thailand. Tesco operates in Hungary since 1995 and its head office is located in Budaörs. The company has built the country’s biggest retail chain by running more than 200 stores all over Hungary. More than 800 colleagues work together in our head office in Budaörs. We cooperate in 4 countries structure with the Polish, Czech and Slovakian teams on a daily basis to offer the best to our customers.

Főbb tudnivalók
Under a fixed term contract – approximately 9 months – fulfilling the country tax manager position (reporting to the Central European Head of Tax).
Szakterület megnevezése: Pénzügy Főbb feladatok: • Ensuring compliance with the local tax rules, e.g. in the area of tax filing, excluding payroll taxes
• Monitoring legislative developments and supporting the business in the preparation for the changes
• Clarifying the interpretation of the laws by e.g. asking rulings from the ministry or tax authority, engaging external advisors
• Advising the business on the tax impact of the operations and planned transactions
• Managing the relationship between the business and the various tax authorities with which it interacts
• Identifying and implementing opportunities
• Liaising with Group Tax and Finance Departments to deliver tax compliant reporting and forecasts
• Communicating with the internal and external auditors and external advisors, suppliers and other parties doing business with Tesco
• Preparing tax related papers for the executive board and other stakeholders, maintaining local transfer pricing documentation
• Delivering deferred tax calculation for IFRS purposes
Szükséges végzettség: Főiskola, vagy egyetem
Szükséges nyelvtudás: Angol ( Közép ) Amit kérünk: • University or college degree in economics or law
• Tax studies in the university/college or tax advisory certificate
• Very deep tax technical knowledge
• Advanced accounting knowledge
• 7-10 years experience in relevant tax areas in multinational environment
• Fluency in English
• Microsoft Excel knowledge
• Experience in managing a team
