CE Lead Buying Manager

Roles and responsibilities

  • Deliver a great customer focused proposition, including the best range, a great trade plan and competitive prices
  • Manage all the people routines for the category such as performance talent, and recruitment
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the right product arrives at the right place, at the right time, and for the right price
  • Oversee all joint business plan, investment plans, range review, trade and promotion plans and supplier proposals
  • Assess and review the branded supply base, and legal contracts in place
  • Interpret customer insight and refine Multichannel trade and events
  • Manage change programmes in the category, ensuring changes to process, structures and ways of working are embedded successfully

You will be great in this role if you have

  • University/college degree
  • Good English skills both verbal and written
  • Good practical knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages including Excel (advanced level) Work and Power Point
  • Buying experience in Commercial product
  • Understanding of range and trade planning
  • Negotiation, supplier and stakeholder management skills
