CE GHS Digital media & Performance Marketing Manager

The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things marketing and online. He or she should also express the willingness to pursue additional learning opportunities, which is essential for the given role. Daily work will require strong managerial skills, communication proficiency, digital literacy and a passion for online and digital. Perfect Hungarian and strong English are both required.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Manage online performance marketing campaigns and activities (SEM, Display, RTB, Social, Price comparison tools, etc.) for Tesco Grocery Home shopping (bevasarlas.tesco.hu).
  • Planning various online campaigns for Hungary in cooperation with CE team or local digital and media agencies.
  • Cooperation with the CE performance team, support other CE countries if any help is needed, running the dedicated campaigns, etc.
  • Manage eCoupons and eCRM (mailing campaigns), preparing databases, reports, coupons setup, etc. (The task is to learn the existing process; special training will be provided).
  • Managing the creative and media agencies: briefing, execution, support, evaluation.
  • Budgeting and cost control, monthly financial reconciliation.
  • Cooperation with company’s customer and GHS teams.

You will be great in this role if you have

  • Basic requirements:
  • Passion to performance and digital marketing. Willing to become an expert in this field.
  • Initiative and ability to self-organize and manage complex processes and projects
  • Excellent Hungarian and good English
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and AdWords principles are both required.
  • Knowledge of any additional platforms is a great advantage, but not a must: Google Tag Manager, Firebase, Fabebook Manager, Adobe Omniture, any of RTB platforms, experience with the CRM programs, understanding of HTML and CSS files.
  • Microsoft Excel (filter the databases. Pivot tables, matching the IDs, etc.), Microsoft Access or SQL is not required, but will be a taken as an advantage.
  • Ability to learn new systems and tools (back office systems)
  • Scrupulosity and creativity. The best candidate will have only some of the above mentioned knowledges, but will have strong wilingness to learn and become a digital expert.
