CE eCommerce Proposition manager

The UK based Tesco is presented in 10 countries all over the world including Ireland and Thailand. Tesco operates in Hungary since 1995 and its head office is located in Budaörs. The company has built the country’s biggest retail chain by running more than 200 stores all over Hungary. More than 800 colleagues work together in our head office in Budaörs. We cooperate in 4 countries structure with the Polish, Czech and Slovakian teams on a daily basis to offer the best to our customers.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Own and develop customer proposition for eCommerce across all CE markets.
  • Lead and launch new eCommerce proposition projects, e.g. Online Range, Loyalty Subscriptions and Digital Product development.
  • Understand and evaluate changing digital customer needs, market trends and business economics, to deliver sustainable growth.
  • Support Head of Online in developing long-term strategic plan for Tesco eCommerce business
  • Partner with Insight function and UX research teams to shape the Online business plan.
  • Partner with Finance and Analytics team to measure and optimise the effectiveness of new customer propositions.
  • Optimise and continuously improve customer proposition plans.
  • Support different digital marketing projects across Performance Marketing, Online Trading, CRM, Analytics.

You will be great in this role if you have

  • Customer centric with a passion for Online.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create recommendations from complex analysis and insight sources.
  • Previous experience within eCommerce is desirable. Any additional experience with Online, Customer strategy, Analytical experience, Consulting or Product Management is a great advantage.
  • Higher education, preferred business, marketing or science-based degrees.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of basic digital marketing landscape and tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Ability to lead multi-functional tasks and projects
